FRIDAYS FORGOTTEN FRIEND: Kissy Girl Pepper Pepper is the kissiest, smoochiest, snuggliest and most cuddliest girl in the world! For real. She. Is. Amazing. Our sweet and stunning 8 year old Pit mix was found a while back, running around alone, hungry and confused. When we first met her, she looked at us with a sense of knowing that she was no longer alone. She literally laid her head on the lap of a staff member and sighed. Our angel knew she was safe in the loving arms of AWSOM. When we put her in a kennel that day, she closed her eyes, stretched her legs and slept a deep and peaceful sleep. The kind of sleep that only comes with knowing you have no more worries. Heres the deal. Kissy girl keeps getting passed over, not because of her age, but because she prefers to be an only child (no dogs, cats or any other furry creatures). Peppy wants all of your affection and attention and there is no changing her mind on that. But believe you me, girlfriend is a bottomless well of love, loyalty and kisses. She is all you will ever need or want. Every day, we watch her look expectantly at people who walk past her and every night it is killing us to put her back in her kennel, knowing she is spending another homeless night at hotel AWSOM. Please dont be scared off by her age. Peppy is a playful, energetic, silly and fun-loving, super sweet gal who just wants to be with you. She loves going for walks and is great on a leash. Personally, I love taking her for a walk and spending time with her. She adores all the wonderful smells that nature has to offer and trots proudly by my side. Every few minutes, I stop and look at her, pat my leg and shell walk over and lean against me. I take her big, beautiful head in my hands and pepper her face with a flurry of kisses. She loves our little game of walk and kiss even more then I do. She happily returns my kisses and looks at me with those gorgeous, dark eyes and I just melt. Trust me, when Pepper looks at you… well crikey ...youll just want to take her in your arms and protect her forever. Pepper is spayed, UTD on shots, micro chipped, house trained and ready to ride off into the sunset with the love of her life. We love our Pepper girl so much and know the family meant for her is out there. Please, dont let her be forgotten any longer. She deserves so much more. Peppy gives herself completely, without reservation, every single day, to every single person she meets. All we ask is that you do the same.
