OMG, who surrenders their fabulous 14 year old feline friend tot a kill shelter? Frisky’s former family, that’s who! This handsome orange tabby was rescued at the ACC about seven years ago and after being a purrfect companion, they decide to dump him like he’s yesterday’s news because they’re moving to a place that doesn’t allow pets. Ugh. Actually, it sounds like this darling senior was given up because he has some health issues and his family didn’t want to be bothered to take him to a vet. Everything about this guy screams purrfect pet. Friskys family describes him as friendly, affectionate, playful, talkative, mellow, shy, and medium activity. They love that he always loves them, gives them hugs and kisses, and is empathetic. He follows them around and likes to sit on them. He plays with string, wand toys, and stuffed toys and plays gently with people. He doesnt scratch furniture. He doesnt jump up on furniture himself, but if someone picks him up and puts him on the furniture, he will stay with them and snuggle for as long as theyre there. Frisky has lived with kids and is a kind, gentle elder gentleman. Frisky needs follow up vet care for a stomach mass and some other issues. Frisky doesn’t deserve to die at the shelter after being a fabulous faithful friend. Does anyone have room in their home and heart for this golden gentleman? Please don’t let it end like this for this delicious older creamsicle. Make the call for our beginner gingerbread man and be the change that you want to see in the world!!!
