Fathers Love When i was young, i thought dad hated us we children, he used to speak in a commanding voice that scared us. He could give us hard rules to follow, like not touching the TV & Radio, not to go to his room to open his closet, not to go to our neighbors house without telling him. And whoever did was punished heavily. Whenever we do something, my Mum used to tell us that when ur dad comes ill tell him and he will punish you and whenever he comes, when told, he would beat us. At the age below 7, i felt I hated him. When we started growing old, some of the restrictions he removed them. We could be allowed to do things which we were not allowed to when younger. At the age of 15 I started realizing his love. He dutifully paid our school fees and give us extra money as Pocket Money to buy whatever we want @ school. He would smile to us as we going and welcome us warmly as the term ends with a delicious meal. Now @ 20 he even calls me asking when next I will come to visit them. And whenever i visit them, i feel like crying when am departing/leaving them I NOTED THIS. The instructions and rules he gave us were meant to keep us safe in the environment and most importantly to be contented with what we have. Fathers play an important role in providing us with all we need. Food, Shelter, Clothing, Sound Education and all the care we have is because of fathers love.
