Fayose bent on Setting Ekiti on Fire, plans to announce caretaker committee members for LGAS without House of Assemblys Approval. The Governor of Ekiti State will this evening anounce a list of caretaker committee members for Local Government Areas in Ekiti State without parliamentary approval as required by law. The matter of the LGA / LCDAS is pending in court. Mr Fayose has decided to dare and ignore the Assembly henceforth on running of his administration not minding the provision of the constitution that the House of Assembly must approve such appointments. He has vowed to swear the caretaker members in tomorrow, Monday, November 17, 2014 without the Assemblys approval. This is one of Mr. Fayoses many acts of lawlessness and impunity since he assumed office one month ago. He has ealier dissolved the caretaker committees in 16 LGAS and 19 LCDAS without recourse to the Assembly as required by law and also unilaterally cancelled the 19 LCDAS created by the House of Assembly without recourse to the House. Mr. Fayose has vowed to crush any opposition to his action by members of the House of Assembly or any member of the opposition whom he has vowed to run out of town. Mr. Fayose may be gradually pushing Ekiti State to a precipice if care is not taken as he has no respect for the Judiciary and the legislature. He has assumed the status of a Military Administrator.
