Felt great last night, paying for it today...pain! But David & I managed to tear into the front porch & remove the stairs. It was a little more difficult working near the front door, because the wood was dry & more intact. I started digging & turning over the dirt so we can grade it tomorrow when the light snow stops. There were so many large rocks to remove as well. David put in some really nice retaining walls next to the garage, he ran out of treated wood, so it is back to Lowes to get more supplies. We both had to dress up in our long john undies, because it is getting colder. Lily on the other hand was running around without a jacket, crazy girl! Today, we are going to the cabin in Willow to get rid of the old wood we pulled off the porch. We are going to put it on our burn pile for later this winter. In fact that is what we do is have a bonfire on New Year eve & Lily loves it.
