Few days ago, I attended a debate about Egypt at the House of Commons. Tariq Ramadan spoke about the U.S. conspiracy in supporting a military coup in Egypt. Oh yes he did! I disagreed with some facts he mentioned in his talk. Before I asked him a question, I made a comment and of course he wasnt happy at all to listen to my comments. After I said my comment, I could see how the Turkish faces were looking at me very angry. It is always fascinating to see how many Turkish people hate Egypt just because of Morsis deposed. It is a global world and you cant tell someone mind your own business. For all AKP supporters, you have to understand that Morsi is gone. Yes, he is gone forever. Your hate isnt going to make any changes. I dont believe that you would ever love or care about Egypt more than Egyptians do. We know that our way is filled with challenges and obstacles, but we will go through it. There is no single nation that ever changed overnight, so why do you expect us to do so? Please dont worry about us! Maybe you should focus on the future of Political Islam in Turkey or Erdoğans campaign for presidency. We wish you luck!
