Finally back on the road this morning heading toward Spokane, WA this evening and Seattle tomorrow. They were able to replace one of two electronic components that control the a/c flow in the car. We at least have high/low from the defrost and floor vents, but the main control that fluxuates the speed and controls the panel vents is not available and on back order to be released late July. We have replaced these several times over a three year period at a cost of $750-$1,500 each time! This does not speak highly of Ford Motor Co. when that parts are on back order they go out so much on so many cars. I hate to buy a new car, but it may be time to switch. I do not want to go through this every year or so! Mind you, this is the Mercury Grand Marquis that is supposed to be near their top of the line. Last vehicle we purchase from Purvis Ford!
