Built in 1926, the church is one of Miltons oldest buildings. According to church members there have been no major problems until now. Were really so grateful that it did happen in the daytime, said Pastor Lynn Catwright. The Milton Volunteer Fire Department led the response with assistance from neighboring departments. Although firefighters say the cause is still under investigation, they believe it was electric. The church sustained water damage, most of which was contained to two classrooms. Church members say those rooms will be closed off until the damage is fixed. _____ ORIGINAL: Dispatchers with Cabell County 911 say firefighters were at a church in Milton due to a fire.
