First Word Asia Equities, Shanghai Job (Shanghai, CHN): Job Requisition Number:41261 The Role Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter for its First Word Asia equities team in Shanghai. The person in this role will be responsible for breaking news on Chinese companies, including earnings, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, as well as other corporate developments. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide fast, concise and insightful coverage of companies in a real-time environment. Applicants should have three years minimum experience either working as a journalist or in equity markets as a trader or analyst. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Knowledge of how use the Bloomberg terminal and mine data to generate story ideas will be a strong advantage.
