First of all, know Im not on a potty pot! I just decided with all the drama that comes with Holidays, I would say something just to make you think! When you lose a loved one, holidays are always hard! There is nothing that fills the void and yet we as humans are usually very compassionate for those in that list! Then there are those family members and/or just people we know that no matter what, drama is their specialty! They get so self absorbed about whats in re menu, whos house the festivities are going to be at, the list of friends they tell to come on bye cuz we have plenty, to making sure those in the family one or two cant get along with are publicly notified they are not invited! I dont get this mentality no matter how long I live around it. So for those of you thinking about the holidays already, can I ask that you give a moment out of your day to say a prayer for those in the military that cant come home, to say a prayer for all those working that will miss their families so they can keep you safe, or check you out at a store that will open earlier to take you from family. I guess that shopping is really important! Maybe even take a moment to remember, not all of us can see our children/child just any day of the week! That some havent seen family or loved ones but maybe once a year and holidays arent any better chance! How about thinking of those Grand parents who dont get to see their grandchildren but once or twice a year! Or those that will never be grandparents or true grandparents because of reason beyond anyones control! You see, some of us plan for our children, love them with all our being but let them go to reach their dreams which sometimes means a once a year visit is all you got! Be thankful for what you have! Drama is the devils best friend! Walk away from drama and love each other! Its ok to not like something someone does, but its not ok to remove family members from the holiday because of drama! I chose to not participate with that type of game and thats my choice! But if you are one of those Drama Queens or Kings, think about how you would feel if your child was halfway across the country or the world and you didnt get to make that choice! I myself trust that Gods plan is bigger than mine! Oh and I will be praying for those that had a choice to make an impression on children and chose drama over God! May you holidays be filled with the true reasons for this season anday God always be at the top of your list! Before Garmins there was God! You dont need to plug Him in or turn Him on to find your path! God is always with you, just talk to Him! He wants to help and I promise, He lives you! Dear God, please fill my friends with your joy and happiness, today and everyday. Then could you please reach my blocked list so they have you in their hearts too? Amen!
