First of all, let me say , I love our town. Jim and i made a choice to come home when he retired from the Army. We chose home. BUT.. Tonight I had to go get groceries.. (mainly due to the fact John was out of pop tarts). Anyway, we went to Walmart. I must say, it was clean, and I always see some friendly employees, students and friends when we are there, so the social aspect was nice as well. BUT !!! Why oh why do we not have any choices on the shelves?? No sweet potatoes, no whole peppercorns with grinder, none of our flavor of poptarts, and the bananas were already ready for banana nut bread. Not to mention not many items for our paleo needs besides meat and eggs. How do.we get choices?? When is our town going to get choices in the way of consumer goods at affordable prices? How do we help in the.process??? Can we support other retailers to bring choices? Off the soap box....
