First off, let me just say, I am not a stupid person, I may act stupid sometimes, but that is just me being me. Now with that said, I just spent over 6 hours trying to help my daughter figure out coverage about the new healthcare law. What I found out is that she is NOT eligible for her employeers insurance, because they say because of the new law they can not offer coverage to a person till they have been employeed 12 months, (which Marie has not been yet) that was a waste of a few hours, then I find out that there is no way to change online your answers to the questions about eligibility. I have to change those because she will not be eligible for her companies plan..really?! I cant adjust the answers?!?..are you freakin kidding me...I at least was able to find out what she would have to pay, and lets just say what I think is affordable and what the goverment and the market place thinks is affordable is vastly different.. lots of out of pocket costs...all I know is that we are ALL going to be paying more, the vast majority of us...I know my costs are going up next year and who knows about the year after next...look I know the healthcare system we have is messed up but this fix is even more messed up...
