First thing I did when I opened my eyes for the first time this - TopicsExpress

First thing I did when I opened my eyes for the first time this morning was what I do everyday, I looked to my right to find my wife, along with our three year-old son sleeping in one bed. Yes, we both try to take him back to his bed at night, but somehow I always wake up with him laying between Elina and I. His heals firmly planted into her back and his head into mine. So I open my eyes, see that picture, my favorite one in the entire world as a matter of fact and I thank the force (not the dark side of cause) for everything. You hear this everywhere lately, how important gratitude is. But to experience it first hand. To understand and bathe yourself in it’s power as it takes you down a life altering journey is something surreal and wonderful at the same time and is where I find myself today. This post is about how a simple act of every morning expressing gratitude for what I have has impacted my life. That silly notion that you will attract success if only you are thankful for what you have and set yourself in a positive mood from the first minutes of your day is not that silly after all. I am a living example! Not so long ago I went through cervical fusion surgery. The event has played a cruel joke on my life and recovering proved to be more difficult then I anticipated. In fact, I just got the bad news from my neurosurgeon tyesterday that my fusion was unsuccessful and that I have two choices, to have another spinal surgery to fix the new discs in my neck or live with the pain. For now I chose to live with the pain, but that’s not the point. The point is that through difficulties and major discomfort I turned my life around for the better and it all happened during what proved to be the toughest period of my life so far. By putting myself in the right state of mind I was able to build a new business, make awesome new friends all while laying on my back in a bulky neck brace. (hopped up on pain killers, it is probably very evident in the copy I wrote back then…) So what’s ahead? Yeah some pain… Major discomfort… Crushing disapointments… Priceless times with my loved ones… New friendships with interesting people… Feelings of joy from helping someone succeed… Hours and hours of chipping away and devouring knowledge picked form my friends and mentors, Igor Kheifets , Chrisi Darrington , Juan Morales Mo Money…Mo Money…Mo Money…Mo Money…Mo Money…Mo Money…Mo Money… So not looking so bad… :) Always look on the bright side of life my friends… Enjoy: https://youtube/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ PS: Month of June almost completely booked, Limited spots left UAC membership is shooting through the roof and we are approaching our membership capacity quickly.
