Who would have thought that having a coffee at the Lindt cafe in Martin Place, Sydney would end in death 16 hours later. The gunman and two hostages lost their lives at 2am on 16 Dec 2014. News Report: Mr Tori Johnson, the 34-year-old manager of the Lindt chocolate cafe where the crisis unfolded, and 38-year-old barrister and mother-of-three Ms Katrina Dawson died as heavily-armed police ended the 16-hour stand-off. Also on the same day, more than 132 students in a school were killed when Taliban militants shouted as they roared through the school hallways in Peshawar, Pakistan and opened fire at them. By the time the hours-long siege at Army Public School and Degree College ended early Tuesday evening, at least 145 people -- 132 children, 10 school staff members and three soldiers -- were dead Very sad indeed as the pain of death of the children will remain a lifelong nightmare to their parents in sorrow for their tragic lost May their souls RIP. My condolences to their loved ones in grief. I hope not many will be hauled into court either, and ended up behind bars before 31st Dec.
