Flogaites on the 2-1 overtime win against North Dakota State to open Summit League Conference Play: I thought it was a win we deserved and in three straight matches we have played better and better, improving every time out on the pitch. Our futbol is becoming tighter, cleaner and more intricate, but our will to win was the intangible that pushed us over the finish line tonight. Amy took her chance very well, and Tyras ball into Sarah Wright was as tasty as can be, Wright made the finish look easy but it was anything but, she had a lot to do to take down the service cleanly. The defending was top notch, and above all this was a team win, a win that indicated that we are together, the investment in the game was full and complete. Its a great way to start off conference play and our first win in Fargo since 2007. Now we turn out sights to a strong SDSU team on Sunday. Everyone keeps counting us out because of our overall record, but conference play is a clean slate and no one but the players on the team know how big our hearts are and how large our belief is.
