Food Bank Delivery---Coats---Thanksgiving Our next Food Bank delivery will be this Monday, Oct. 20th, with the trucks arriving at Donegan Hall at about noon. Our volunteers have mastered the art of cheerful efficiency under pressure. Please join them for the fun if you have time on Monday. There will be many, many boxes of food to unload, sort and stack. Once again, we will be this areas point of giveaway for the Dutchess Outreach Annual Coat Drive. The coats will be arriving on Nov. 9th, and we will start to give them away on the following Friday, Nov. 14th, from 10:00 until 3:00. Last year we distributed coats to over 150 men, women and children. The coat give-away is an extraordinarily valuable county-wide cooperative activity, benefitting many hundreds of families. Thank you all in advance for your cooperation with the Thanksgiving outreach activity of our Youth Program. Our kids have started filling bags with Thanksgiving meal trimmings to be given to our pantry clients, and they want to encourage other parishioners to fill such bags as well. We are grateful for the wonderful initiative of our children, and for Anne Schmidts leadership in making this project possible.
