Food, Friends and Fun. The 3 Fs. That was last night. Minimum 22 people last night. Old Friends of decades. Still in contact and love/care for each other. There is very little better than being in an environment where you love everybody and you know everybody loves you. Where all you hear is laughter and clinking of glasses and feel the warmth and love throughout the room. Where you can be alone in the crowd if you want and will be allowed to do so. Where you can bop from one persons conversation with whoever to someone elses conversation whoever else and be welcomed into the conversation rather than feeling you are interrupting something. Where anywhere in the room you can turn to the person beside you and just hug them for no reason, or just grab their hand and hold it for a while. Where people can be happy together, disregarding our differences. Where everyone can comfortably be themselves with no judgement or condemnation and where I can be me and get the same. I nearly did not go last night because I was not feeling well. Hell, I felt really well after that and I am so happy I went and saw everyone. I thank Laura and Darrin specifically for their hospitality and hard work to set this all up, I thank Lise for coming back to Canada and sort of inspiring this party, I thank all those who brought such wonderful food (4 different lasagnes for goodness sakes and so much more :)) and I thank God/Life/Fate/Karma/Circumstance/Chance... for letting me know and be loved by so many wonderful People/Friends. Ive said it before, I am truly blessed.
