For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV). Beloved, now that we have come into the knowledge and wisdom of our lighted state in Christ, we now have to look into the working dimension of that glorious lighted state. The word of God says, God commanded the light to shine out of darkness… Now as believers we are light beings so we can command our light to shine forth. The bible says, Let your light so shine before men… (Matthew 5:16). Whatever darkness you see around you can be overcome by light. People of God! There is light in any darkness. The darkness of sicknesses, diseases, poverty, and failure are overtaken by the light. There is “the light” in every darkness we happen to see around us and that darkness is checked out by commanding “the light” to break forth in that darkness. So in cancer is its own healing, in poverty, there is the light that can cause it check-out. We command “the light” to shine forth out of darkness. It means when we meet any situation with a fellow brother, which is not consistent in God, we can minister by commanding “the light” to shine forth out of that situation. Further, in opening verse, the Bible says, God commands us to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. The light is commanded to shine forth in the face of Jesus Christ. In transmitting light, our faces are very important! Beloved of God, I have good news for you, the master said; as long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world (John 9:5), but now Jesus is not in the world so in whose face is God going to command the light to shine out from? People, it is our faces!!! The bible says that Christ Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father (Revelation 1:6) And again; A king that sitteth in the throne of judgement scattereth all evil with his eyes (Proverbs 20:8). The eye is the light of the face and the rest of the body. The light from your eyes scatters evil because of our authority as kings and priest. Be conscious of your eyes for it carries such power. Energize that power in your eyes. Power to scatter evil! We are now the light of this world and God has cause to command our glorious light to shine forth in the world. People of God, we with God command light to shine out of our faces to destroy any darkness around us. Walk in consciousness of your lighted state as a believer and activate the energies of that light to shine on your path. Shalom!
