For all the hungry Goats, You guys are killing it in the box - dont let it go to waste in the kitchen! Quite a few of you have mentioned to us this week that you havent eaten much before your workout and you walk out empty handed as well. These workouts need fuel, before and after, as you have noticed. I know a lot of you are coming back from a hiatus as well and youre probably starting to feel your metabolism is firing up. Quick Tip: dont workout on a completely empty stomach - and get protein in shortly after your WOD. This will help with muscle recovery and that feeling of fatigue when your endorphins wear off. Chris and I take Progenex Recovery and highly recommend it. Personally, Ive found nothing else comparable. We have some samples at the gym! Keep an eye out for details soon for a nutrition challenge that we will complete before the holidays! In the meantime - start using those journals! You can enter your food in to wodify under Journal pick a nutrition coach to rate it and give feedback.
