For folks who know my aunt Maggie, her dog Frieda died - TopicsExpress

For folks who know my aunt Maggie, her dog Frieda died unexpectedly this evening. We did not realize that she was severely ill until she did not want to go for her walk today. We took her to an emergency vet and they did all they could but she was in congestive heart failure and could not recover. I brought Frieda from Tucson to NY over 7 years ago. Frieda needed a home at that time and Maggie needed a companion and a reason to go outside at least once a day. It was love at first sight, they were each others constant companions, best friends, confidants. Frieda moved with Maggie from NYC to Atlanta a couple of years ago, and from there back to Arizona last year. The moves were very hard on my aunt, having Frieda by her side made it all more bearable. We will have a small service for Frieda tomorrow in my back yard. I wish I knew the words to say, but I think nothing will fill the hole in my aunts heart.
