For goodness sake, why is the leadership of CAN so desperate to spread lies and so much in a hurry to create hatred among the peace loving people of Nigeria? Christian Association of Nigeria warns of Boko Haram plan to poison Christians with poisoned Suya nationwide. it is so childish to move a step with this rotten unprofessional lie. Does this now means all the suya joints in Nigeria are owned by Boko Haram or all the Suya men are members of Boko Haram? Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma was quick to device the means used by Boko Haram to poison Christians with Suya but failed to states how the poison will differentiate between Muslims and Christians when they come to buy it. He said We are warning our people to be careful of suya because we have now heard that they will start poisoning people through it. There is a powder that is now being imported which they will spread on suya and after two weeks it will start eating your liver and other organs. We all know that Suya spots in the whole of Nigeria are patronized by both Muslims and Christians except there are other Suya joints strictly for Muslims or for Christians which i dont know, I think the poison Bishop Chukwuma is talking about is specific in action to only Christians, and may be the Muslims buying it will be automatically identified and prevented from buying the poison ones. This is the kinda inciting statements we are talking about, unguarded remarks aimed at creating havoc and causing confusion in the society, this is not how Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) lived with people of different faith during his time. This isnt the first time, not the second but hopefully the last where CAN will be involved in spreading fake statement of violent nature and nobody seems to care. Abeg i no fit shout but Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma, the Anglican bishop of the Enugu Diocese and CAN chairman in the southeast geo-political zone seriously need to be call to order or else, he will do a great harm to Nigeria than what Boko Haram did.
