For muscle hypertrophy do you think its better to use a base of exercises that you are good at or effecient doing (able to use a heavy weight, have good muscle fibre recruitment, able to utilize a good mind muscle connection) Or Use a base of exercises you are not good at or effecient preforming and continue to do these exercises until you are able to lift a heavy weight with, have learnt to effectively recruit a good amount of muscle fibres and have a decent mind muscle connection with the movement and then move on to a whole new range of exercises and start again. Ive always believed both are important but have always stuck mainly to the exercises I can preform effectively as my base. However after the past few months coming back in training im starting to think this way of training might be totally backwards and I missing out on gains training in this manner.....
