For my friends and family I havent been able to talk with, mom took another fall yesterday. We were walking down the sidewalk at a very slow pace and her foot caught a rise in the side walk and she kissed the cement again. (This happened 3 wks ago) She cut her lip a bit so I took her to a local walk-in-clinic to make sure it didnt need stitches. They also did a CATscan and found she has a large brain bleed which is shifting her brain to one side. They were concerned she may not make it through the night. SHE DID, but is still in danger. They were going to do surgery today, but the neurosurgeon wanted to wait for the blood to thin, maybe Thursday, which would be a much easier surgery for her. She is disoriented, in constant movement, and is very hard to understand what she is trying to say. Id prefer no calls. I am in the ICU with her all the time and its awkward to talk.
