For the Student: When I memorized the 4th chapter of the Quran, my teacher made me take a 3 day break so I could come back and read it all to him by heart. Needless to say, when I returned, I started well, but towards the end I had a blow out and started forgetting everything. Suddenly, I started crying and my teacher looked at me and said, Everyone who hoped to memorize the Quran has been where you are right now. In Senegal we say that a condition for a Qari is that he had to cry at least once while trying to memorize the Quran. Dont worry. You have to do this. You have to experience this.
