For those of you who attended todays Babies & Sign Language session, I forgot to show you the following video clip. This video shows many wonderful examples of babies using signs/gestures to communicate their wants/needs/likes. There are even a couple of examples where a young one uses two signs together (more eat and more shampoo). And remember, its important to always say the word as you are signing it. Signing bridges that gap between a baby knowing what they want to say and having the oral motor skills necessary to verbally say it.
