For those of you who knew Mr. Daw and lucky enough to have him as a teacher... Obituary for Kenneth Daw Kenneth Wayne Daw, 78, passed away March 6, 2014 in Humble, TX. Ken was born August 26, 1935 in Baytown, TX. During Ken’s professional life he was coach, PE teacher, driver’s education teacher in Baytown, League City, Edna, Humble, and Klein ISD, where he was also transportation supervisor. He retired from Humble ISD where he was coach and assistant principal, retiring as driver’s education teacher. After retirement he was still actively involved in supporting the area schools as a fund raiser and sales representative for Profit Plus. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patsy Daw; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2 to 5pm at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble, TX. Funeral services will held at 10am, Monday, March 10, 2014 at Lake Houston Church of Christ, 8003 Farmingham Rd. Humble, TX 77346. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville, TX. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Sam Houston State Football Program or HARTA Scholarship Fund. Honorary pallbearers will be, Allen Boren, Byron Calfee, Tommy Davis, Hap Harrington, Andy Wells, Franklin Williams, and Sam Houston State University Football Team of 1956 and members of the Annual Crystal Beach Bash. The family would like to thank Ken’s caregivers for all their loving care and unwavering support .
