Found myself looking through old photos tonight only to soon realize it will be 5 years this February I became an official photographer. Never could I have possibly imagined where this journey would take me. While reflecting... I remember the lunch date I had with a sweet encouraging friend... Wonder if she knows her what her words revived. I remember using my income tax money to purchase my first professional camera. I remember my friends pushing me to step out in faith while believing Id become very successful even long before I did. I remember other photographers coming along side me sharing tips and even their own trial and error. I remember those willing to model while I practiced using my camera. I remember families that allowed me to share milestones with them. And to this day, still do. I remember feeling a part of memories being made. I remember opportunity given by strangers who seemed to have more faith in my abilities than I did. I remember laughs. I remember tears. I remember feeling what could be seen from behind the lens. I remember the little girl who watched her daddy capture life with his camera always at hand. Today I look back at a box full of moments frozen behind a lens. Moments that I hold so dear. Moments Im honored to capture for so many of you. Thank You Thank You Thank You for 5 amazing years. This journey is far from over. Im in this life with you and promise I will continue to capture moments that will soon come to pass. ((HUGS)) This first photo is of my Coco(now in doggie Heaven) she sat on the floor next to me the night I opened my new camera box. She was my first capture:) The second photo of a highschool senior, my first paying customer. He and his mom believed in abilities I wasnt quite sure of. Sweet moments with the two of them:)
