French Television ,, jocking / insulting ?!......the entire Romanian People last year by clearly suggesting that the the Romanian salute is beggars salute : ,, Please Sir, can you give me a penny ? ( see below video-clip ) Result : The Romanian Embassy sent a letter to the TV ( not to the French Ministry of Interior ) , The Association of Romanians in France sent a protest letter to the TV. No answer , no excuses of course . Of course there were no further attempts of ,,threatening in any other way ,, the racist and xenophobic French TV Channel that do not represent the majority of French people. This prove once again that the Romanian people had ( since looong time ago ) & has an European Culture& tradition and habits , has a strong Christian tradition of FORGIVING , and it is tolerant. Unfortunately for our pity World , there are still small minorities of some ethnic groups that CANNOT understand the European culture of tolerance&forgiveness , and freedom of speech , the freedom of press and so on :-( Should we ,,re-educate them through work,, like the Communists and the Fascists ? Should we follow the Mighty United States in the endless and expensive War against Terrorism ???? Heaven knows. Lets pray that our elected leaders will realize what are THE MAIN threats to our countries , even it is hard for them to admit.
