From God (Allah) we belong and to him we will return. Ameen. A dear family friend, and beloved father-figure to me, Mike Rivera, passed away very suddenly, and will be laid to rest today. May God forgive and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, protect him from any torment or fear after death, and make honorable his reception. Expand his entry, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange his worldly existence for what is infinitely better. Admit him into the Heavenly Paradise. Amen. I ask God to give his family and loved ones patience, strength and comfort in this difficult time. Amen. Please keep him, his family and friends in your prayers (duas). Thank you all and jazak Allah khair.
