From KOMEO: URGENT PLEA: HELP US BRING THE CRAWFORD FAMILY HOME UNTIL THEY CAN SAFELY RETURN TO CONTINUE THEIR WORK IN SIERRA LEONE! Dear Komeo Supporters and Body of Christ, As I believe most of you know, over the past couple of weeks, there has been a major development in the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, which is now centered over Sierra Leone, in the heart of the area where the Crawfords have been called to minister. With the country beginning to close borders and with airlines beginning to halt flights in and out of the country, we believe it best for the Crawfords to come home while the risk is higher than the reward. This has been a very difficult decision for all involved because we believe the Crawfords were, and still are, called to Sierra Leone for a mighty purpose! As you can imagine, it is difficult for them to walk away from the people they feel called to minister to. Below is the message from Shanna Crawford explaining their emotional struggle to make this decision: Komeos board of directors, the pastor over us here and our pastor back home all advise that we we return to America for a minimum of 30 days. I know The Lord is directing us through each of these people we love and trust. God is sovereign. Because of this I choose to trust Him even when I dont understand. I am incredibly sad to leave everyone I love here when they need so much help and support. Please pray for us as we plan and prepare today. We do not have enough funding to get back to the states. We also need to rent a house for a 30 days or so. I need emotional strength. The people here need to see Christ as their Solution. Your prayers have carried us so far! Thank you! We love you!
