VENISON CHILI CORNBREAD CASSEROLE 1 pound Ground venison 1 cup Onion; chopped 6 cloves Garlic; chopped 1 can (16 oz)Tomato sauce 1 can (16 oz)Pinto beans; drained 1 can (16 oz)Chili beans; undrained 1 can (4.5 oz)Green chilies; undrained 1 tablespoon Chili powder 1 1/2 teaspoon Cumin; ground 1 teaspoon Oregano; dried 1 package Jiffy cornbread mix 1 cup Cheddar; grated - Oven to 400 - Saute first 3 ingredients until beef is done - Combine beef with remaining ingredients except cornbread mixture - Pour into a 2 qt. baking dish - Prepare cornbread according to package directions, adding grated cheddar cheese - Pour over beef mixture - Bake 30 mins.
