From garden to can, homemade salsa is an easy and nutritious condiment we use often at the Serafin farm. A jar full isnt really difficult to make and you probably have the ingredients tucked away in your fridge right now. Serafin Salsa: - 3 cups chopped and processed tomatoes. - 3 ripe jalapeños - 3 garlic a cloves - 2 tblsp dried cilantro Process the tomatoes, jalapeños and garlic and place in a medium cooking pot on medium heat. Add the cilantro and mix well. Heat until the mixture slightly boils. Place it in a sealed container and refrigerate. *when canning salsa, be sure to seal the cans well and process in a water bath to seal.
