WAS ALL SHE COULD ASK John Hinckley became obsessed with Jodie Foster after seeing her in a movie taxi driver in 1978 he wrote her several letters and even telephoned her, but Jodie Foster told him she is not interested in him. John thought in himself that the only way to impress Foster was to kill the United State president. He trailed president Jimmy Carter but couldnt get him until he left the office and started trailing President Reagan too until that fateful day that he shot Reagan. Jodie Foster was surprised that a shizophrenic psychopath could go as far as assassinating the president, just to win her love.
