Fun time at the wedding we attended in Eureka Springs. For those - TopicsExpress

Fun time at the wedding we attended in Eureka Springs. For those that have never been there it is a really charming town with a strong gay community and biker vacation spot, an interesting combo. It seemed like we were not going to make it. Our Tom Tom actually sent us on a back back road, gravel with huge potholes, in our tiny Prius. We kept thinking things would get better when they only got worse. It was crazy!!! It would tell us to make a right where there was no road, and once told us to go into field full of cattle. It was tense. FINALLY made it to a blacktop road and then got there. Our B&B booked on Expedia which said it took pets- did not!- so that was tense as we talked the owner into to letting little Fiona and Angus McDuff stay- but we didnt feel very welcome. We got to the 2pm wedding at 2pm. The couple, my fun neighbors, had wanted their dog to be the ring bearer, but he was too freaked out, so they had their infant niece pulled by their toddler niece in a little red wagon, that was cute. Phil has a real aversion to the whole B&B experience, so we skipped breakfast, and I think he was somewhat insulted that Fi and Duff were treated as criminals. Duff spotted a cat, a good chasin cat, on our walk, and I let him sort of chase it on the leash. He was very happy. Fife has no fear of the Duff, and is a poor excuse of a cat to Duff.
