GAS STATION ROBBERY: This morning around 4:05, a white male, approximately 60, 175lbs, medium build, wearing tan work boots, light colored jeans, a black zip up hooded jacket, along with a black mask and gloves, entered the Speedway located at 955 Galloway Rd and approached the front counter. Upon reaching the counter, the unknown male pulled out a light blue canvas bag with handles and demanded that the clerk empty the cash register drawer and fill the bag. Once the cash drawer was emptied, the suspect demanded that the clerk empty the remaining cash registers. The clerk explained that the other drawers were empty, at which point the suspect fled the Speedway through the front door, jumped on a dark colored mountain bike, and sped away from the scene. The clerk added that although the suspect had a silver handgun in a holster on his hip, he never drew the weapon nor did he make any threats of any kind.
