* GENERAL TRAVEL ADVICE * (This is a general travel notice and at this stage not relevant at Denpasar airport - yet!) Are you aware of the new enhanced security measures at certain airports with direct flights to the United States? As normal, all electronic devices are screened, but, you may now be asked to power up some devices, including mobile phones and laptops. Any powerless devices that cannot be turned on will not be permitted on board the aircraft or in your checked in luggage. Suggestions of explosives being concealed in a portable electronic device are said to have prompted the changes. No names have been released, of the airports that will be affected by the new rules flying into the US, but it is believed Heathrow in London, and Charles de Gaulle in Paris are already enforcing them. Always remember to have some charge left in ANY electronic devices you are travelling with or risk losing them.
