GMFBF & F., Its Wed., the third of September. If today is your birthday or anniversary, I send you a HAPPY-HAPPY.Today is very special to me. When I got married, I desperately wanted to be a mom. Seemed that all of my friends had babies and I desperately wanted a lil girl. Well, after eighteen months of being a couple, we were finally a FAMILY. Our lil boy, TIGER, was born September 3 at 8:15 pm, and while I wanted a girl, when I saw him, I was totally satisfied. So Happy Birthday, Son. You are the sunshine of my life. My thought today is WHO OR WHAT IS THE SUNSHINE OF YOUR LIFE? We all probably have a different answer, but when the rubber hits the road, those of us who are parents, or have been parents, would probably say my child, or my children. I cannot imagine anyone abusing or hurting a child, defined as anyone from birth to 18 (and sometimes, 21). IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, DONT GIVE THEM TO THE STREETS. You BE the controlling factor. Until they mature enough to make rational decisions, you make them for them. Dont let the gangs and drug dealers be a parent to your precious commodities. Know the friends of your children. Know their parents. Be nosey. Check their rooms often. Monitor their computers and phones. They might kick and scream and say they hate you, but theyll love you for it, later. Be the best parent that you can be. Not sure how, seek help. Raising children is not always a picnic, but you have to take the good with the bad and mold it into satisfactory, and later, WONDERFUL! Introduce your child or children to a higher power, and GIVE THEM LOVE. P.S.Make time for your children, even if its only 30 minutes a day...Carve out a little uninterrupted time to spend with your child. Let them talk. Sometimes, thats all they want. Listen to that small voice. It does have something to say!
