~•~ GOD BEHIND and BEFORE us ~•~ From The Word we learn that God is Always with us, we need not fear anything. He is the Creator of all that exist, therefore He is also the Ruler and in Control of All of His Creation. He watches over Everything, Everywhere, All of the time... He is our Supreme God - Omnipresent. Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save;... Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God... Isaiah 41:10 Also, lets look at this assurance that God Rules and Controls everything in Isaiah 45:6-7 That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things. Now folks, when we read that God is; I AM the LORD and He forms the light, create the darkness, makes peace and even creates calamity, surely He must be God who Rules and have total Control over All that exists... Right? God is always near, He is in our midst, He [hast beset me] behind and before, and [laid thine hand upon me.] Psalm 139:5 (KJV) In other words... Wherever we are, we are under the eye and hand of God. He is ever close to us - He has enclosed us before and behind, are on every side of us, in such a way as to surround us with all-disposing providence and protection... And [laid thine hand upon me], not His afflicting hand, but rather; To uphold us, and at the same time to restrain us frm entering, not only into sin, but also immediate danger. God so guide us with His hand, that we can turn no way, but where He appoints us. And laid thine hand upon me - That is, If I try to escape in any direction I find Gods hand laid upon me there, guiding and protecting me... Therefore I will echo this exuberant declaration of faith with David in Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
