In association with Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare’s (GVMH) ongoing commitment to quality care and service, Golden Valley Medical Clinics have partnered with HealthStream Research™ to conduct Patient Satisfaction surveys. The survey process allows Golden Valley Medical’s leadership to evaluate patient experiences on a year-round, day-to-day basis. HealthStream Research, Inc. conducts telephone interviews with randomly selected patients shortly after receiving clinic services. Golden Valley Medical Administrator Kyle Adkins said, HealthStream’s phone survey process will allow leadership the opportunity to fix any negative experiences more quickly than the survey process we’ve used in the past. Continuing, Adkins commented, Leadership plans to use the information to drive quality improvement efforts throughout the physician clinic system. All calls are made from HealthStream Research’s Laurel, Maryland Interviewing Center. The phone number that displays on the caller ID is 301-575-9366. If you see that number, please take the call. We care very much about your comments because they help us improve our service to others. They also help us train, reward and recognize our staff. However, your participation in the survey is voluntary. Your caregivers will not see your specific responses to the survey. Patients can feel free to volunteer confidential answers ranging from topics such as staff communication over the phone to the exam room. Director of Operations, Mere-dith Cooper adds, Service excellence will always be a priority at Golden Valley Medical, and the responses provided by patients on the phone surveys will provide us with the information necessary to continue to provide excellent patient care and improve in areas needed.
