Gabrielle Upton to deliver your petition to Planning Minister! Now we know this whole thing is tedious and wed all much rather be playing tennis or enjoying some other type of recreation but... We found out last Friday night that we have between a week and a month before the decision is made by NSW Planning whether to put the Council and Community through the whole EXPENSIVE rezoning process (aka, Proceed through the Gateway); Our State Government representative, the Minister for Community Services no less, the Hon. Gabrielle Upton MP has not only publicly requested the Planning Minister dismiss this spot rezoning, but has also agreed to hand deliver your words. So... Lets make it worth her while and reach our target of 500! IF YOU BELIEVE that Bondi needs to preserve its irreplaceable recreational space more than it needs another block of flats and.. IF YOU BELIEVE that the State Government should stick to its promise to return planning powers to local communities rather than allowing developers to override Councils decisions then: Ask Planning Minister Pru Goward to SAVE the Bondi Tennis Courts at rescuebondi.good.do/ Weve done this before - and won.
