Gang, As some of you may be aware, after the amazing success that was 2014 for me, with the launch of Geary Lane and MAN FINDS FIRE I have been doing some re-evaluating and brainstorming new and interesting ways to bring unique, but accessible experimental music and art to the people of Toronto and beyond. While my involvement with Management of Geary Lane will grow a lot in 2015, I will be stepping back a bit from the the confines of the MFF community project in order to be able to flesh out my desire to promote music and art all across the city, unrestrained. With this new entity, INVOCATION, I aim to up the risk a bit and become more of an (ir)regular part of Torontos music programming scene. Working solo or in tandem with other amazing outfits around the city to ensure that you always have something strange, exciting and maybe a little weird to feast your eyes and ears on in Toronto, and yes, beyond. (More on that later) But for now I want to invite you all to join the INVOCATION TO group so you can hear more about what I have in store. The Constellation Records showcase and Kaki King concerts later this months are just the very tip of the iceberg... So heres to a new year and new beginning! Invocation TO is coming at you.
