General Zod (full name Dru-Zod) is a fictional character, is one of Supermans more prominent enemies. Zod is a warlord from Supermans home planet of Krypton. As a Kryptonian, he exhibits the same powers and abilities as Superman, and is viewed as one of his greatest enemies. Determined to rebuild Krypton and restore the Kryptonian race, General Zod has searched across an ocean of stars for Kal-El and the codex. Upon confrontation with Superman, General Zod proves to be a formidable opponent and engages in intense battle across the city during the climax of the movie. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Michael Shannon as General Zod in the movie which features a detailed head sculpt, interchangeable armored head, and meticulously constructed costume. With Product Code of MMS216, General Zod is around 31 cm with 30 articulations. Head sculpted by Lee So Young who is also sculptor for LOKI Avengers and painted by JC. Hong. Head Art Directed by Kojun. Head sculpt with real-like facial expression with detailed wrinkles, scar, goatee and gesture. Costume set of one-piece black costume with embossed pattern, a full body armor and a black cape. Accessory come with a diamond shaped figure stand with General Zod nameplate and movie logo. This figure is awesome and so detailed! Head Sculpt accurate, paint job awesome, armor is soft but painted as metal and overall weight is heavy. It is to believe that with soft armor on this figure, General Zod has better articulation and poses. Things to be remind or aware when handle with this figure are the helmet is not tight when attached on the neck joint so it might fall when pose. Secondly, careful with the back cape as the material will stick on our fingers so it is better to avoid long nails so that it won’t scratch the cape. Other than that, recommend to put on stand as figure is quite heavy. Overall, I rated 9 out of 10 for this figure and it will be perfect if it come with more accessories.
