And for whatever strange reason didnt get a co-writing credit ... Or even a thank you or perhaps an honorable mention ... It really boggles my mind ... And there has been many ... And the three that immediately come to mind are ... Jimmy McCulloch Mick Ronson And Mick Taylor And when you look at those names ... Three songwriters/duos ... Come to mind ... Paul McCartney David Bowie (Official) Mick Jagger/Keith Richards ... Who perhaps love to keep a tight grip on their wares ... So in reality ... It just may be too difficult for ... A hard working poor boy ... To get a break ... And its a low down dirty shame ... That continues to this day ... That when a songwriter is asked to give a credit to ... The cats who provide the licks ... For us to get our kicks ... Will often respond with one word when asked why ... And that word is ... ICK
