Going and spending last days of life in Kashmir for some senior citizens is a legitimate desire. Many do that despite or in spite of an offer for 7 lakh or 20 lakhs, whatever it be. But to equate it with Return and Rehabilitation is not only unreasonable, it is preposterous. Those who have opted for the 1200 jobs under PM Manmohan Singhs employment package for Migrant Youth have also signed an affidavit binding themselves to very illegitimate conditions that violate basic fundamental rights. But that was during a Congress regime in Delhi. We have to see what would effectively change with BJP coming to power. Would it scrap the Congress Policy on Jammu & Kashmir?
