Good Day San Pedro! It is Thursday and that means it is time for our weekly Tasting Thursday menu. Chef Ben has prepared another 5 course Chefs Tasting Menu for all of you foodies out there. With a few of our favorite menu items and a few more of Bens special recipes and of course, an optional wine flight paired with the first 4 courses, we are ready! First Course - Malaysian Chicken Satay - Local chicken breast marinated in Malaysian spices and grilled, served with a tangy coconut peanut dipping sauce. Second Course - House Caesar Salad - Crispy Romaine lettuces hand mixed with Bens house made Caesar dressing topped with garlic croutons and parmesan cheese. Third Course - Crispy Corn Meal Polenta and Roasted Mushrooms - Our own house roasted button mushrooms over a crispy polenta wedge drizzled with a red wine mushroom demi-glace. Fourth Course - Pan Roasted Snapper with Shrimp and Avocado-Lightly breaded garlic roasted snapper filet topped with in season avocado, chopped shrimp and a cucumber Tzatziki salad. Fifth Course - Pineapple Tarte Tatin - House made puff pastry tart with caramelized pineapple in a One Barrel Rum caramel sauce served warm with a scoop of our delicious vanilla bean ice cream.
