Good afternoon Mikis Single File members how was your Shabbos/weekend?? Mikis Matchmaking tip of the day: A coffee date is acceptable for a first date in NYC. I dont think women should feel like the guy is not valuing (monetarily) their meeting for the first time. There are so many lovely coffee places too. I certainly wouldnt elect to go to (dunkin donuts) on a first date(unless you LIKE Dunkin Donuts, heck, I do)..but keep in mind that many men have spent so much money on first dates that lead to nowhere. Unless the guy has unlimited funds it gets expensive for guys to keep paying for every first date. Try not to think that the guy doesnt think you are WORTH a fancy dinner. A first date is not about the dinner (although some girls go on a date just for the dinner and others go on a dinner date and pick on a salad). A coffee date gives you enough time to meet, talk a little, get some caffeine into you.If there is a next time THEN you can be more scrutinizing to see if next time he makes reservations for 2 or he has you buckled in for a drive-thru!
