Good morning all and happy Sunday- this is Steve. I know I dont get as much time with you all as I used to- but I would like to share something with you all. The other night I met a group of guys who had just gotten here a few weeks ago and had only been to a few places in landstuhl. I replied awesome. Than he listed them and included shawingz and as he went on he stated as a matter of factually that the restaurant was owned by a Mexican family but we spoke English pretty well so we should check it out- I replied that is greAt to know and I would check it out! Along with last week in the sauna a gentlemen speaking about shawingz as if he knew it all- but he didnt know me? another time by a miss Dixie who should be starting here soon! Also I have heard that I am retired air force- that I am married to a military member, etc. listen. You should all know, there are numerous people that dont know what they talk about, but they speak. Furthermore- enemies and or haters if kids are still Saying that. If you ever do anything for yourselves - get that promotion, get married buy a house and so on- you will understand immediately. Also I would like to share some of the changes we have made here as well. For a long time I had a very relaxed environment due to how busy I am- I had to pick and choose what I wanted to do each day- 1) make new sauce or make the lawyers meeting- for example. But the people at work there were out of control- you the customer has spoken out- the improper music at the old place- lack of professionalism and so forth but I would not fire anyone because I always thought better to talk and give a story and be understanding with- but the customers would tell me about the attitudes and behaviors there when I wasnt around. Soooo- I decided to fix the problems. Dont make me the bad guy- Nobody wants rules at work- or structure- or the boss there so they can do as they wish at my expense... not sure however i took advice from another man who is in business for over ten years and tells it how it is. Now there are rules and expectations and because of it I can garauntee a higher percent chance you are greeted with a WELCOME to SHAwiNgz every time you walk in and these things are my job! So yes I had to make changes and relieve people- but it is a job- they should understand that. Finally I love all you shawingerz out there and wanted to say for the ones that know me- I hear the rumors and hearsay dont spread it unless you know it to be fact. Come see me- and I will tell you whatever you would like to know!! Heart you guys and more surprizes to come shortly!! -Steve
