Good morning my friends. I guess by now all of you are wondering what in the world happed to old Cotton…did he kick the bucket last night? No, I am among the living as of right now, but I had to come to the gallery first thing this morning and write a letter and work on some photographs for an ad. Our poor computer gasped a few times and finally locked up yesterday afternoon, but my faithful computer man, Joie Miller, came to the rescue. He arrived at 6:30 and worked and worked and finally around 10:00 last night gave the computer a clean bill-of-health…I was almost ready to have it put down. Anyway, it was after 11:30 when I eventually got to bed and after getting up at 2:30 yesterday morning, I was what one would call, pooped. Since it was so late when I got to bed last night, I slept in until 3:30 this morning and was here at the gallery by 4:25. As my daddy used to say, “We have a heck of lot of work to do and a short time to do it in.” I never heard that just one time, either, I think it was the man’s main credo in life. Vickie tells me that she doesn’t need to even have a watch because I am always telling her what time it is…well somebody has to let her know. I think I must have inherited that thing about time from my daddy. Anyway, it is almost 6:00 now and time to go back home so I can get ready for the rest of the day. I think I will wear one of my Tommy Bahama shirts with lots of flowers…maybe that will help keeping me awake. Have a good day and don’t forget to thank the Good Lord for all you have for there many people in this old world that have absolutely nothing. Remember that God loves you no matter what you do, but he would probably appreciate it if you would try a little harder to be a little better…I will if you will. God Bless!!
