Good night Positrons! What did we learn today? That is really is A Dogs Life, sometimes! A couple of days ago April and I were at a rummage sale here in Bloomington. I walked up and the lady that was putting on the sale, said Hey, you look familiar. Why do I know your face? Without even batting an eye, I said to her Well..I used to work for the Bloomington School District. Maybe thats where you recognize me from. I instinctually said that instead of thinking that she may have recognized me through my music affiliations. She said I used to work at Jefferson High School, in the main office. It was then that I recognized her. My son, Gabriels school. I remembered that she got a dog the same week we did....at a garage sale in the city of Bloomington, a few years ago. I said You are the lady that got your dog at a garage sale a couple of years ago, right here in Bloomington. Right? A black lab? She said Yes! How did you know?! I then went on to tell her about our dog, Tulip. And, I then told her, that we got Tulip a few years ago at the same Rummage Sale. I then told her that she was in the car with us, right now!!! I asked her specific questions about the rummage sale...... everything matched up! I asked her for specific dates and times, from the timeline from a few years ago. It all freakn matched up! WOW! I asked her if she had her dog in the house? She said Yes! I told her I think that your dog is Tulips brother from the same litter! Of course April, Chris and I were all in disbelief. She went on into the house and out came a Black Lab, who looked to be the same age, same the same breed....and......yepper! it was Tulips brother, in the K9 flesh! Hows about that, Positrons? They had not see each other since they were puppies! They hadnt seen each other since they were in that little cardboard box together, when they were but mere pups! He had the very same face and demeanor. It was amazing! Although, they instantly didnt like each other all that well.....;-) we were all just amazed at the fact that they were indeed siblings! And, they both had the same disapproving bark! ;-) it was hilarious. Now, Tulip was the runt in the litter mind you. Her brother, Bear, was a good 40 pound heavier than her, but there was no mistake that they were indeed, brother and sister! How cool is this? I know! Things like this, never cease to amaze me. If she hadnt said anything, I would have walked right out of her garage sale and never known that Tulips brother was right inside the door of this ladys house! ! It again, just makes me realize how close each and everyone us are, in this big world! :D Its a small world after all.....even if it is a Dogs World! ;-) ;-) ;-) Booooooooya, Andy out!
