Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things seen and unseen, we gather together as one to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the rough, hardened slopes and glistening waterfalls of the mountains. We thank you for the knowledge that sometimes we look upon them as obstacles, when we should be understanding them as those things we are able to overcome. We thank you for the cascading creeks as we traverse through them, one rock at a time to reach our destination. We thank you for the Season of Birth and Rejuvenation as the wildflowers begin to grow and bloom in diverse colors, swaying gently as the breeze blows through them. We thank you for the blanket of green plants of the forests and the budding of the trees, while the fliers begin to build their circular nests. We ask for guidance as the next phase of change begins during this cycle. We ask for protection, strength and guidance as we begin the arduous task of reclaiming the lands, waters and air for you. We ask for comfort and peace be upon those that have recently lost loved ones during their grieving process. For those that have crossed over to the next phase of life, we ask for guidance, strength and courage be given. We ask for comfort for those that have lost faith and hope in their lives. We ask for protection as we stand against those that willfully bring destruction to your creation. For those that wantonly kill your animals for sport and trophies, we ask for your judgement. We ask for this cycle to be the time where the innocents, that have been incarcerated for crimes they did not commit, to be released to their family and friends. We ask for calm in the center of the turmoil that surrounds us. We ask for forgiveness for the damage we have done, and mercy for those that are answering your call. We ask for patience when we tend to do things for ourselves. We have become arrogant, selfish, materialistic and lustful and we ask for your forgiveness. Grant us the guidance and strength to overcome the obstacles ahead, so we may bring back the environment. We ask for strength and understanding when we face what we fear in life. We ask for an end to our addictions and support from those that surround us. We thank you for our Elders and the lessons they provide us along our journey. May respect for them once again become common place. We thank you for our children that will build upon the foundation we lay before them. We thank you for our ancestors and the wisdom they have passed on over the generations that will serve to bring back the balance. We thank you for our thorns that keep us from becoming too boastful. We thank you for the precious gift of life for all living things. We thank you for endless mysteries of the Universe that surrounds us. Emenv
